The resource will manage relationships with suppliers, both Italian and foreign, taking care of managing and supervising the entire company purchases flow and the daily management of sourcing for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products for a specific business unit (e.g., orders, follow-ups, transports).
The candidate's responsibility will be to ensure sourcing within the standards and timelines shared with their Purchasing Office Manager.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete management of the PURCHASE flow (Plan the purchase of goods and raw materials in line with the company supply chain needs).
- Carry out scouting and evaluation activities of the best suppliers (vendor rating).
- Negotiation of supplies (methods, L.T. of sourcing, quantities, payments).
- Order issuance.
- Monitor/follow up deliveries
- Check warehouse stock levels.
- Prepare reports on the purchases department activities.
- Customs procedures.
- Organization of foreign transports.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience gained in similar roles.
- Experience in material purchasing for the rubber and plastic sector.
- Degree and/or technical diploma.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of MRP computer/information systems.
- Aptitude for interpersonal relationships.
- Good communication skills.
- Determination and result orientation.
Work contract: Full-time, Permanent
